A little about me

I’m Julie


I was born and raised in Ontario. I spent 10 years after high school living all over the country and abroad and have been lucky to call Kamloops home for over 12 years now.

Motherhood


Most of my adult life has revolved around supporting motherhood. I became a Doula at 24 and have since supported hundreds of families. I am also blessed to call myself a singlemother to a 6 year old daughter and 8 year old son.

Photography


Birth photography for my doula clients led me into other genres of photography and now I spend most of my time seeing the world and the unique humans who make it up, through the glass of my lens.

Fun Facts


Photography brings me so much joy, but it isn't my only passion. In my free time I love to hike, camp, powerlift and explore new places. I'm very outgoing, open and upbeat. Many of my clients love their final products but say they hadn't expected their sessions to be so much fun!
